The Shadow of Death

There are some allegories in the Bible, and also very literal Truths to be found within those allegories. The best way to interpret the Bible is with the Bible, as "it is always it's own best commentary" and does not contradict. The Holy Spirit was showing me some basic truths this past week that I shared with a loved one, and want to share with all. Epic Contrast: The Old Man vs New Creature in Christ

The lost people in the world resist truth and contend for sin, but the saved resist sin and contend for Truth. That contrast is brought about by the Holy Spirit, when a person is born again, God saves us and makes the blind to see. Anyone who has been saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (the only Way) can testify of the radical changes brought by this amazing and redemptive transformation.

Will You Have Two Births or Two Deaths?

Jesus calls all men everywhere to be born again, saved, have their sins forgiven by God's grace through faith in Him. But the other path is to the second death. According to Revelation chapter 20, that is what the lost will be raised to partake in, as they will be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity. Gospel link below.

Thanksgiving and Giving Thankfully

Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift, the free gift of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We who are saved understand what we truly have more to be thankful for than just food and rainment. The flipside of being thankful to God for all that we are given is to give thankfully. There are many Bible verses about being thankful and giving thankfully, out of a pure heart towards God. Happy thanksgiving!

Dead or Alive? Passing from Darkness to Light

People often say "the truth hurts" - I suppose that is true if you don't want to hear it. But Jesus Christ is always honest about our souls, in fact, HE IS the Truth. He always told the people that they need to be born again. Jesus teaches that there are only two kinds of people, spiritually dead, and Spiritually alive. Those who are born again have passed from darkness to light, from death to eternal life, by grace through faith in Christ alone.
